Psychotherapy
Core Process Psychotherapy draws on western psychodynamic understanding of individual development and Buddhist understandings of the mind.
Core Process work is predicated on the idea that inner wellness is available to all of us (in Tibetan Buddhism this inherent health is called 'Brilliant Sanity’). I work on the understanding that exploring suffering can lead us into relationship with this deeper wisdom and joy.
Core Process Psychotherapy is an opportunity to explore mind, body and feelings, to generate understanding and hopefully, to create more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
People come to therapy for a range of reasons including:
- low mood - anxiety - loss - loneliness - addiction - bereavement - trauma - relationship difficulties - eating disorders - divorce - family issues.
I also work with people who are curious to know more about who they are or where they might be in life.
I work to the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists (ACPP) and UKCP codes of ethics, and my work is fully supervised and insured.
